Planned Parenthood now offers same day appointments. In most cases, depending on the level of care you need and the time of day when you call, you’ll be seen by a provider that day. When you call us, we will search across 9 health center locations and telehealth services for an appointment that suits your needs.
Abortion is Still Safe and Legal in Florida
The Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade — the court's landmark decision that established the right to abortion nearly 50 years ago. Abortion care is still safe, legal, and accessible in Florida despite this ruling. However, the 15-week abortion ban is now in effect. Gender-Affirming Care Restrictions
Senate Bill 254 imposes severe restrictions on the provision of gender-affirming hormone therapy for adults and prohibits beginning new gender-affirming care for minors. This law places medically unnecessary and intentionally targeted restrictions on the way gender-affirming care is provided that are intended to severely restrict access to care. Our staff is working to comply with the restrictions to ensure patients can continue to access the care they need, and we anticipate re-opening appointments in mid-June.
