Diana N. Contreras MD, MPH is chief health care officer at Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA). Diana is a board certified ob-gyn with fellowship training in gynecologic oncology. 

As the chief health care officer, she is responsible for increasing Planned Parenthood’s health care effectiveness and capacity by capitalizing on its role as a leader in sexual and reproductive health. Diana oversees the health care division teams responsible for medical services, standards and guidelines, consortium of abortion providers (CAPS), health care operations, patient experience, quality care, and health equity.

Diana has an MPH in health care administration and policy from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, an MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, and an undergraduate degree in history, Latin American studies, and women studies from Princeton University.
